There
are 2 divine Persons called JEHOVAH in the Old Covenant: God the Father
and God the Son. King David said:
JEHOVAH
saith unto my JEHOVAH, Sit thou at my right
hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool (Psalm
110:1).
The Messiah
is Immanuel or God manifested in the flesh and he is also the Branch of
JEHOVAH:
Hear
now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and
thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for,
behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
(Zechariah 3:8).
His Resurrection from
the dead was the ultimate infallible proof that Joshua of Nazareth
was the Son of God. Saint Paul said:
Concerning his Son
Joshua Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according
to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according
to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
(Romans 1:3-4).
Until
the site was changed by Emperor Constantine, the Mount of Olives
was the destination of Christian pilgrims from all over the world.

To whom
also he showed himself alive after his passion by
many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking
of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. (Acts 1:3).
